Kids 'N' Sibs Weekend Schedule of Events

Friday, January 31

6:30-8 p.m. Arrive on campus and check in at the Dining Commons.

 Family Open House 

Clare Hall Peer Tutoring Center                                                                                         

Mrs. Beth Elsener cordially invites family members of current students to join her for a wine and cheese open house (adults only). After helping your student and their little sibs get settled, check back in with the check-in table in the Dining commons and a presidential ambassador will walk you to the reception.

8 p.m.-midnight Up All Knight
Join us for late-night crafts, games, food, and more in the Dining Commons. There will be fun for all ages! This event will feature games, snacks, karaoke, crafts, prizes, a showing of Camp Rock and a variety of other fun activities to fill your evening.

Saturday, February 1

10:30 a.m.      Rise and Shine Zumba
Group Exercise Room, Fitness Center
Get your morning off to a great start with a Zumba class. This fast-paced workout with a Latin flair will be led by Marian University staff member Anni Hine. All ages and skill levels welcome!
10 a.m.-3 p.m.      Marian University Bookstore Hours
Stop by the Marian University Bookstore in Alumni Hall before or after the basketball game to purchase Marian University spirit gear!
11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Knight Canvas & Spirit Posters
Private Dining Room, Dining Commons
Let's hear it for the Marian University Knights! Show your MU pride by coming to make a Knight-themed poster or painting with us. An instructor will be there to help you paint and come up with a great design!

1-5 p.m. Scavenger Hunt
Private Dining Room, Dining Commons
Any time throughout the afternoon, you will be able to work through our photo scavenger hunt with your family. At 5:00 p.m., come find us in Alumni Hall and let us know how many clues you were able to complete to be entered for prizes!
1 p.m. Women's Basketball vs. Indiana Wesleyan
Physical Education Center
Kick-off a basketball double-header as the women's basketball team takes on Indiana Wesleyan University! Tickets will be free for all current students and Kids N Sibs participants.
3 p.m.

Men's Basketball vs. Indiana Wesleyan
Physical Education Center 
Cheer for the Knights as they compete against Indiana Wesleyan University! Tickets will be free for all current students and Kids N Sibs participants.

6 p.m.

Dinner
Will be provided in the dinning commons choose from a variety of stations including comfort, pizza & pasta, grill, soup/salad, deli, sauté, beverage, and dessert. The DC features a brick fire pizza oven, soft serve ice cream, and many opportunities to personalize your meal.

7 p.m.

Wes Mathison: Magician & Mentalist 
Alumni Hall 

Wes Mathison is an LA native who now finds his home in Chicago. He is currently featured as ‘The Mentalist’ in the world’s biggest touring magic show, The Illusionists, which is playing at the Eldorado Showroom in Reno, NV.  Wes has also been featured in New York’s longest running off Broadway show, Monday Night Magic, and was the crowd favorite at the Amsterdam Magic Show in Amsterdam, Netherlands.  He has also produced two shows in Pondicherry, India at the Adishakti Acting Laboratory, and Sri Arubindo Ashram School.
