Mailroom information and policies
The Mailroom handles all mail and packages for students, faculty, and staff.
Location: Clare Hall, room 130
Fall and spring semester hours of operation
Monday through Thursday: 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Semester break hours of operation
Monday through Friday 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Mail and packages for students
Mail for undergraduate students
Residence Hall Assistants deliver letters to individual mailboxes in the residence halls Monday-Friday. Students are encouraged to check their mailbox frequently. Questions regarding individual mailboxes in the residence halls should be directed to the Resident Director.
Packages for undergraduate students
Packages from USPS, UPS, and FedEx are delivered every week day to the mailroom. You will receive an email from the mailroom when your package is ready to be picked up. Emails are sent to Marian University emails. Packages that are not picked up within two weeks of delivery will be returned to sender unless other arrangements are made in writing before the two week period is up.
Mail and packages for Overlook at Riverdale
All mail and packages will be delivered to the mailroom. Residential mail will be delivered to Overlook on a daily basis and put into the mailboxes by Overlook staff.
Smaller packages that can fit into mailboxes measurements of length: 14.5 inches/ 12 inches wide/ 1.5 inches tall will be sent to Overlook. Packages that are slightly large will be put into the larger mailboxes as space allows. Residents will be notified by email when a package is delivered to Overlook. Packages that are too large for the mailboxes measurement will need to be picked up by the resident. Residents will be notified by email when a package is in the mailroom.
Students must pick up package(s) from the mailroom in a two-week period or package will be returned, unless other arrangements are made in writing.
