Tickets and Capacity

Each graduate participating in in-person commencement will be allotted four guest tickets. Guest tickets will be required for venue entrance regardless of whether the ceremony is held outside or inside. Lap children aged 2 and under do not require a ticket for admittance. Guests may enter the venue beginning 1 hour before the ceremony start time. Access to the venue will close 15 minutes before the ceremony start time. Guests arriving less than 15 minutes prior to the ceremony start time will not be able to enter the venue and will be directed to the livestream viewing location.

E-tickets will be available for participating graduates to order electronically beginning Monday, April 26 by following these instructions for Claiming Guest Tickets. GRADUATES: Make sure you give a unique ticket to each guest and do not provide the same ticket to multiple guests. Each ticket has a unique scan code and it will only be allowed to scan once into commencement. Guests who present a ticket that has already been scanned will not be able to enter the venue.

DO/DNP graduates: If you choose to invite a guest hooder, the hooder must use one of your four allotted guest tickets.

Livestreaming of the ceremony will be available in the Alumni Hall Family Room and accessible to non-ticketed guests within capacity limits as well as being available online at https://marian.edu/livestream.

All in-person events will follow campus COVID-19 Safety Guidelines. The ceremony has been designed to allow contactless participation for graduates.

Destination Survey for Undergraduate Students

We applaud your hard work, dedication, and perseverance, and we are excited to watch your continued success beyond graduation. You have the power to demonstrate to others what it means to be a part of Marian University. We know you are proud of your education. We also are proud of your success and want to share that with the greater community. In order to share those stories, we ask that you take a few minutes to complete our annual first destination survey.

Please take the first destination survey here

This survey is important for many reasons: 1) to share your successes with prospective students and their families; 2) to determine both strengths and opportunities for improvement within our programs; and 3) to remind you of our dedication to your future success. That said, please take advantage of the many services provided by The Exchange (e.g. resume reviews, mock interviews, job search strategies, etc.) by visiting http://www.marian.edu/exchange.
