Transforming Hispanic Serving Parishes

Marian University’s Initiative for Parish Renewal (Renovacion) equips pastoral leadership teams to transform Hispanic/Latino serving parishes into thriving missionary communities through theological education and innovative ministerial practices.


Participants will earn a certificate in Latino Ministry Leadership through Marian University. 12 different modules in two years. College credits will be awarded.

Congregational Learning

Creating Small Faith Communities

Participants will organize small communities that evangelize and discern through the see, judge and act method. 

Leading Through Spiritual Retreats

Participants will lead two day retreats for their communities, inviting parishioners to pray, learn and grow in community.

Parish Mission Plans

Through the congregational learning process, leadership teams with their pastors will develop mission plans to promote renewal in their parish communities.

Gather Together at Festival Mariano

Participants and parishioners will be invited to a full day at Marian University for the festival Mariano to learn from each other and hear presentations from national leaders.
